The park had everything I needed - fast food, pizza, and a convenience store for all my snacking needs. The lodge had a spacious decking area, perfect for lounging and soaking up the sun. The living area had a TV and comfy sofas for some quality relaxation time.
It was such a disappointment to find out that the keys were in a key safe. How thrilling, I always wanted to play detective to get into my own room.

The lodge was spacious and perfect for our group. The view of the lake from the lounge area was breathtaking. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful - she quickly resolved our query upon arrival.
The lodge could use some renovations as it felt a bit old. , some of the sauces in the basket were expired.

The location of this privately owned lodge is stunning, with a beautiful pond nearby where kids can enjoy watching ducks and swans swim. The lodge itself is spacious, clean, and nicely decorated, providing ample dressing room space and an enclosed veranda that is perfect for young children. the owner is very helpful and provides thoughtful touches like tea, coffee, and dishwasher tablets.
Some minor issues were reported, such as slow Wifi and a sinking sofa in the living room.

Our stay at Castle Lake Lodge was absolutely wonderful. The lodge itself was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The view of the lake with all the water birds was truly mesmerizing, especially for our kids. We enjoyed the tranquility of the location, away from the hustle and bustle of the main complex. The lodge provided everything we needed, from liquid soap and washing powder to dishwasher tablets, making our stay convenient and hassle-free. The owner was incredibly helpful and responsive to our messages, ensuring that our needs were met. Although there were some minor issues like pebbles in the fireplace and some bulbs not working, they did not greatly impact our overall experience. The lodge could benefit from some renovations, but that did not overshadow the enjoyment we had during our stay. The only other drawbacks were the slow Wifi speed and the less comfortable side sofa in the living room. However, these were minor inconveniences compared to the overall positive experience we had. We absolutely loved our relaxing weekend at Castle Lake Lodge and would highly recommend it to others.
